INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
TUITION may be paid online or in the ballet office by cash, check or credit card. Tuition Payment Plans are available. Please reference the online class registration portal for the current policy. Contact the office if there are questions. Scholarships are available for students requiring tuition assistance. Scholarship eligibility is based on need, talent, and commitment. Gift Certificates are available in the Lexington Ballet office.
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP Arts Place is a Fayette County public building and students must wear street clothes and street shoes when they are entering and exiting the 2nd floor studio area. Please monitor your child as you would in any public area. Pre-school & Elementary School - parents must walk students into and out of the classrooms. Parents may wait on the 2nd Floor or 3rd Floor hallways during class. Students who have not been picked up at the end of class must remain in the studio an observe the next class. Middle School/High School - student may be dropped off and picked up by car at the front door of Arts Place. If you child must wait for your, please ask them to remain upstairs until you arrive. Parking - Street parking and public lots next to Arts Place are recommended. Parking fees are nominal and street parking is free after 5pm and on weekends.
PERFORMANCES are fun and an amazing learning opportunity but there is some important information we need to share to make each show successful. The Level 1-8 student performances for 2013-2014 school year will be The Nutcracker and Snow White. Performance Meeting attendance is required for parents of students who will performing with the Lexington Ballet Company. Parent participation is critical to the success of these performances. Please review the Student-Parent Handbook. It contains information about costumes, makeup, hair, student supervision, and other details. Check the calendar for meeting dates. Costumes are provided for all student performances. No purchases are required other than class uniforms or simple undergarments. The Lexington Ballet is a professional dance company with an extensive costume wardrobe for performances. School Shows are perfomances scheduled during school hours so that local schools may attend. Students who are perfoming are encouraged to request this time as an excused absence. Forms must be submitted PRIOR to the event. Lexington Ballet Activity Request Form

SUPPORT THE BALLET Its easy to support the ballet, do what you love! BRAG SHOP SHARE GIVE VOLUNTEER Playbill Ad sales are a great way to support your business. If you would like to place an ad or can help sell ads, please contact the office at email@example.com Decorated Pointe Shoes make terrific gifts. Make a donation to the Pointe Shoe Fund and choose an original signed keepsake shoe. They are available in the office and at performances. Students may drop off used and decorated shoes and a donation receipt will be sent home. DVDs & Blueray Videos of all performances are available for purchase in the office. Prices are $10-25.
