Class schedule: 90 minutes, 5-6 days per week. Registration for Levels 4-6 includes all classes listed in the table.
Class placement: by evaluation.
Students are challenged to concentrate while using proper alignment of the back, arms, legs and head. Students will begin more complex petit allegro combinations and multiple turns, with more emphasis on grand allegro.
Students will develop mental and physical stamina. New goals will include multiple pirouettes, speed during petite allegro, continue to focus and attention to proper execution of ballet technique. Students may start pointe at this level upon instructor recommendation.
Student's continue to work on the proper execution of their technique and work on building their extension's, strength, speed and stamina. Usually, pointe work has started at this level so they will begin working on pointe more often.

Location of Lexington Ballet studios is in the LexArts Arts Place building in the heart of Lexington's vibrant Art's district.
Parking is free on all downtown streets on weekend and after 5PM weekdays. Paid public parking is located next to Arts Place, as other locations on N. Mill St, Short St.

Parent Observation Classes - One week each semester. Parents may sit in studio -- don't forget the camera!
Performance Opportunities for full-time students in level 1-8 are offered with the Lexington Ballet Company as an extra-curricular activity. Performamces are voluntary and participation time is eligible for community service hours. There are no additional fees or costume purchases required however students must attend all scheduled rehearsals. The student-participation performances will be The Nutcracker and the spring performance. Additional performance information and volunteer sign-ups will be discussed at a Parents Meeting prior to rehearsals.
Parent Performance Meeting will be scheduled once per semester. Attendance is required for parents of Level 1-3 and new students in other levels. Please refer to the Student-Parent Handbook for additional information.
Rehearsals are typically Saturday afternoons, Oct-Nov, Mar-Apr, and evenings on the performance week. Check the calendar for specific details for each role, cancellations, and additional performance week rehearsals.
Students may opt to register for a part-time schedule at a reduced price. Part-time students may not participate in performances.
