Class schedule: 45-60 minutes, 1 day per week
Class placement: by age on 1st day of class.

Classes are a fun and energetic dance introduction for children aged 3 - 8. The focus for Creative Movement classes is on music and the natural gift of movement in young children. As students progress into Pre-Ballet classes, they will work on coordination with music. All classes will include stretching, barre, and center work. Students will begin learning basic ballet terminology.

Dress Code and Calendar

Uniforms are specified for each semester class level. Please refer to the Dress Code for details.

Location of Lexington Ballet studios is in the LexArts Arts Place building in the heart of Lexington's vibrant Art's district.

Parking is free on all downtown streets on weekend and after 5PM weekdays. Paid public parking is located next to Arts Place, as other locations on N. Mill St, Short St.

Important Dates Please refer to the Calendar for class schedules and event updates. Holiday and inclement weather closures will also be communicated via email.

Parent Observation Classes - One week each semester. Parents may sit in studio -- don't forget the camera!

Student Showcase

A student showcase will be scheduled at the end of the semester in December and May. Students will prepare a special performance and reception for families in the Lexington Ballet studios. There are no additional fees, tickets, or costume purchases required.
